Hi Gloria, I was very much fascinated by the Darwin's finches on Santa Cruz Island. I am impressed with the sharpness of the image after the mega crop. But I agree with Leslie, have you tried sharpening the image and darkening the turtle shell? Maybe with the raw image you will have better luck. |

I really like this photograph. Perfect composition, nice blur on the background but yet showing their environment. Well done. |

Jerry, Really nice photograph of this gull in action. The light on the birds is perfect and I like the composition. I like that you showed the rocks, perhaps where the gull was before it took off. You even managed to capture the catch light in the gulls eye. I do agree with Isaac's lightening of the fish tail. |

Kathy,
You brought out the beautiful colors in Grackle feathers in this photograph. The worm is an added bonus. I like Isaac's edits. Really nice. |

Hi Pei fan, It is a very colorful photograph indeed. I like the composition and the bird stands out amongst the Colvillia flowers and blue sky. |

Hi Isaac, Thank you for your comments. I like your crop as well. Ofcourse I wished those leaves were not in the front but then I thought the photograph shows the complete environment that these titmouse like to hang out in.
I looked at the range of the Tufted Titmouse, they reside in central Florida but the range does not extend to South Florida. |

John,
I have yet to visit that part of California. I love the colors in the photograph. Maybe reducing the exposure and reducing the saturation or luminescence on yellow will bring out some of the reds you see?
I attended a photography retreat in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park recently. One of the field trips we took I got introduced to impressionistic photography, if done right can be very beautiful. |

Hi Judy, sorry for the confusion. So the original is a completely different spot and different photograph. I wanted to share the beautiful fall colors on the Tallulah river (original photo). The Minnehaha falls in Rabun county GA is on Falls Creek. |

Perfect timing! I love how you have created so much depth in this photograph with the tree in the foreground, the various layers of rocks and the sunset in the background. The clouds are the cherry on top! |

Gorgeous photograph. I agree with Leslies comments.
I love the Southern Magnolias. They are have the largest blooms of all the Magnolias. The bright red seeds from the pods in the fall are favorite of many bird species. Sorry you lost the tree. |

Hi Sherry, All I can say is it is a gorgeous bird and you have captured it beautifully. I wish I had seen this hummingbird when I was in Costa Rica. |
