The cormorant is in sharp focus and Isaac's adjustments brought out some of the details in the dark shadows. I wish the Cormorants head was slightly facing towards us so as to showcase the beautiful eye in its entirety. But nevertheless a beautiful shot. |

Thank you for your comments. Most of the month I was in India there was a haze in the atmosphere with low light conditions in the cooler mornings. The afternoons were hot so I didn't want to be out. If you are interested, please check out a photo of Malabar Giant Squirrel that I presented in group #94. |

Thank you for your comments. These are the Chestnut-headed Bee-eaters, Merops leschenaulti. During my trip to India I photographed the Blue-tailed Bee-eaters that you beautifully presented this month . |

Isaac, thank you for your comments. Here is the original. I really like your second crop. I think the huge crop and hazy drizzly conditions did not help to keep the details in the bird. Appreciate your comments. |

Lovely portrait. The orange beak immediately draws my attention to the bird. You have really captured the details in the Caracara's feathers. I like the post processing Isaac did to bring out the details in the highlights.
I have only seen a Caracara once from the bus when I visited Costa Rica. I hope to get a good photograph soon. |

Perfect light has really brought out the colors in this beautiful bird. I also wish the Pheasant was looking towards the camera. I think the details in the feathers and the catch in the eye makes it a great image. |

I like this photo with the cardinal in the red berries and the leading line with the parallel branches. I like the crop and processing that Isaac made. Have you tried using the Lightroom Denoise AI? I found LR Denoise works really well for photographs with high ISO. I don't use it often because it takes a bit longer than the Topaz Denoise and the files are very large as they are saved as DNG files. |

Thanks Peter. It was the first time for me seeing these squirrels. When I first spotted one I thought it was some debris in the trees but then our tour driver told us all about these amazing creature.
I am already missing the variety of wildlife I saw on this trip, even though I just returned back on Thursday. |

These squirrels are about 3 feet long from head to tail end. They are so big that one can see them from a distance hanging high up in tree canopy. |

Lovely image of the Yellow Rumped Warbler. Even with the significant crop you preserved all the details in the feathers. A catch in the birds eye would have made this even a better image.
The YRW are regulars in our backyard during the winter months and I love taking photographs of them. |

I am always amazed how long the green herons can stand still with such intense focus. Very appropriate title indeed. |

Really beautiful shot! The humming really stands out against the soft background and both the flower and the bird are in focus. In my opinion the water droplets add an additional element to the photograph. Awesome. |
