Hello Pei-Fan, Welcome to the group. I really like this photo. I think you have excellent lighting, great composition and a powerful story! You have done a great job with adding the eagle on the left side. I would love to see the two original images that you combined to make this final image. These eagles look very similar to the Red-tailed Hawks I see in my area.
Welcome again! Looking forward to seeing more photos from you. |

Mike,
The image is sharp and shows how the hawks have adapted to human structures. I think you could crop closer to make the bird as the subject of this photo and yet keep the environment. I would even crop closer than Isaac's crop. |

Kathy, Beautiful image! I love the story, composition and the details in the feathers of both the adult and the baby. Love it!
When I visited India in Feb 2020 I had the opportunity to take a boat ride around a small island in a lake. This island was filled with egrets and cormorants nesting but the babies were yet to be born. Now I know I can just travel to St. Augustine from January to April. |

Hi Jim,
What a beautiful bird! I like the composition of the image. I think Isaac's changes really brought out the colors in the bird. Could it be the Great Crested Grebe?https://ebird.org/species/grcgre1

Randall, I like your presentation but I think Isaac's crop really makes the image look three dimensional. I thought the house with building structure with the red rooftop in the background was a little distracting and Isaac's crop took care of it. Beautiful bird. I am adding it to my list of birds to photograph. |

Wow! This is a beautiful image of the spoonbills. I agree with Randall, the image is unique and powerful because you can see the inserted young baby's beak in the adult mouth. Excellent!
I was fortunate enough to photograph the White Ibis and Glossy Ibis babies being fed by adults at a rookery, but never knew how far the baby's beak goes into the adults mouth. |

Hi Randall, Thank you for your comments. We see these birds at the local wetlands all year round and I love photographing them. Please see my reply to Isaac. What do you think of the new version? |

Hi Isaac, Thanks for your comments. Earlier in the spring I saw one GBH catch a really long fresh water eel and swallow it up. I cropped this image at the bottom but not the back or top of the bird. I only had my 500mm pF lens with me and we were on a boardwalk, so not much room for me to get farther away. I added some space on top and the back using photoshop generative expand. What do you think? |

Hi Judy, Very nice image of the Flamingo with a great story. The GPS device does look pretty big but I hope it is for the good of Peaches. |

This is such a fun and cute image of the Blue Footed Booby. The bird is in sharp focus and the background is really nice and soft making the bird really pop out. Excellent. |

Congratulations Sherry. Excellent photograph of this illusive hard to photograph bird. I love how the vegetation is going diagonally across from the bird making for a great composition. Very nice! |
