15 Sep 23 Comment Very nice image showing the behavior of Cowbirds. They are always in flocks of large numbers. I would definitely go with Isaac's tight crop. Great idea! Sep 20th

15 Sep 23 Comment What a beautiful image of the Cattle Egret in its breeding plumage! You were able to get such details in the white plumage. The green of the trees makes the bird pop out. I like the image better after you removed the flowers near the beak. Very nice!

15 Sep 23 Comment Very beautiful shot! Puffins are on my list of birds to photograph. I like Isaac's crop and what Jim did with the rocks by the wing. Sep 20th
15 Sep 23 Comment Great action shot. I like what Isaac did with the photo and agree with the comments of others. Sep 20th
15 Sep 23 Comment Beautiful image. My attention immediately went to the blue and red colors on its facial skin by the Roadrunner's eye. I really like the composition, the blurred background making the bird pop out and that everything is in sharp focus. Perfect! Sep 20th

94 Sep 23 Reply Thank you Sherry for a wonderful morning at the wetlands. I really enjoyed meeting you and photographing with you. The number of birds we saw at the wetlands were way more than what I see in the Atlanta area even on the best days. So I was in heaven.
I was lucky when the adult Ibis landed in the opening of the bushes to feed the young. I took several photographs but in many of the photos the wings of either the parent or the young were clipped or the eyes of one of them was not visible. Next time I visit I will bring my 300mm.

94 Sep 23 Comment Very cool! Made me giggle Leslie. Sep 20th
94 Sep 23 Comment Love this shot. At noon you don't have any glare on water in the photo either.
I typically have ISO on Auto as well except in bright situations like yours.

94 Sep 23 Comment John, I agree with Sherry's comments. The slow moving water is very soothing and cooling. I like how you have created layers in your image by using the beautiful green grass, making this a great composition. Thank you for sharing the story behind this beautiful photograph. Sep 20th
94 Sep 23 Comment Sherry, Aww! This is a lovely photo of the teal Mama with her babies. I love how they all swim close to each other and the Mom in their first few days after hatching and eventually spread out with the mother watching from a close distance. Sep 20th
