I love photographing the Red-bellied Woodpeckers. Your photo shows how it is using its strong tail feathers to hang on to the feeder. The red belly is visible so clearly. The woodpecker is sharp and I actually don't mind how the noise has created a texture for the background.
Last year we had a nest in one of the oak trees in our yard. I saw the pair build the nest but once the leaves on the tree sprouted I was unable to see the nest.

Wow beautiful! I am really enjoying all the photos this month of nesting behavior.
Since you lit up the stick transfer my attention immediately goes where the action is. I really like the composition of this photo as well. Great photo. |

Beautiful photo of the Cattle Egret in action with building material. I like the crop and how the two sticks and the leaves frame your subject. I also like that the subject really stands out from the background really well. The expression in the Egrets eye is priceless! |

Patience and persistance pays off with this gorgeous photo. I have never seen a Roseate spoonbill in its breeding colors.
I like your crop and placement of the subject in the frame. Love the colors! The bird is sharp and you even have a catch in its eye. Nicely done. |
