Hi Stuart,
Nice details on the iguana. I agree with others about the background green being too electric, my attention goes directly to the background. I like Roberts version, it brings out the tip of the nose. |

Hi Robert, Nice photo. I like the sharpness in the subject. As Michael mentioned the white in the background is distracting. Maybe underexposing the background and reducing the whites may help. |

Thanks for your comments. Toning down the tree in the back helped. |

Wow, great photo of the flying hawk. I have never seen a Harris walk before. We have red shouldered, red tailed hawks in abundance and occasionally see coopers hawk. So your photograph and information on the bird is a treat. Thanks! |

The yellow bill, the catch in the gulls mouth and the waves all add interest to this photo. Great photo. |

Such a beauty! The color of the spoonbill stands out from the background, and you have captured the details in all the feathers beautifully. We don't have them in our area, although every once in a while I see a sighting being posted. After seeing this photo I want to photograph one. |

Really nice image of the owl. I have only seen the barred owl in our area and have heard them in the middle of the night. But when I have seen them they are always behind some branches. Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo. |

I think it is an acorn nut that was hidden in the hole. I have seen the red bellied woodpeckers make holes in the trees around us and then bring nuts and hide them away in these holes. In this photo it was removing the nut. It later flew away with this nut into another tree. |

Hi Judy,
You captured the alertness and the focus in the otter's eye. The photo would have been a nice story if the alligator was also in focus. |
