94 Sep 21 Reply Thanks Christine for your comments. I considered removing the vegetation in post processing but with the birds leg being directly behind the leaf, this was not possible. I remember thinking while taking the photo that it was in the way but any movement from me would have startled the little one. Sep 28th

94 Sep 21 Comment Donald, Very nice photo of the hummingbird. The beautiful color of the background and the hummer showing off its red throat makes the bird really stand out.
Last month a friend presented me with a hummingbird feeder. Within hours the ruby throated hummingbirds were at the feeder. They are constantly chasing each other away from the feeder. It has been real fun watching them. 		Sep 28th
94 Sep 21 Comment Sherry, Very nice photograph of this beautiful bird. People have reported seeing the spoonbills in the Atlanta area wetlands as well but I have never seen them. Hopefully one day! Sep 28th
