The textures of the ropes come out really well in the photograph. I agree with others regarding the black and white contrast. |

Michael, Beautiful photograph. Love the rich colors of the landscape. When I fill up my screen with the photo it feels as if I am standing there waiting for the rain to fall. |

Stuart, It is a nice image, must bring back a lot of memories. Like Robert, I also thought the sky looked out of place, I like what Robert did to it. |

Robert, I like the crop and the sharpness of the center. The white petals could be soft. Very nice! |

Christine,
Beautiful photograph! I am imagining it as a beautiful painting. I can feel a light breeze because of the angle you have given to the daisies. The blue in the background makes the daisies pop out in even more. Great picture! |

Donald,
I have started seeing the horse nettle in my area on my recent walks and have taken a few photographs myself.
I am drawn to the yellow center of the flower. The flower petals, the buds and thorns are really sharp but the stigma could have been a little more sharper (maybe it's just on my screen). Nicely done.

Mark, I like watching the lesser legs go about in the water.
In your photograph the ground is beautifully framing the bird and the parallelogram formed by the bright yellow legs and their reflection immediately draws my eyes to the bird. Wish we could see more of the eye but that can be difficult knowing the behavior of the birds. Excellent image! |

Judy,
This is a great photograph of the raven. Perfect timing and I really like the composition. The catch in the Raven's eye, the grip of the legs on the stem and blue sky with light clouds makes this image really stand out. You have also brought out the highlights in the feathers quite well. Excellent! |

Sherry, Beautiful Cooper's hawk. I have seen Red tailed and Red shouldered hawks in my area. I have yet to spot a Cooper's hawk. It is amazing that they have found a home in your neighborhood.
I agree with Judy regarding reducing the luminosity in blue tone. It will definitely help keep the focus on the bird. Great image! |
