Hi Tom,
Greetings my friend.
Apology for delay comment and feedback.
This edition is spectacular, but I have few suggestions to improve the composition. First of all "Vivid Sydney" captured by you, from this amazing vantage point is an worthy presentation. I feel that this composition has a lot of negative space, which can be cropped easily and make the composition a bit tighter and view it from a different perception. But again this is just my personal view. I did a bit of cropping myself as sample. Hope to hear from you about this.
Stay safe as always,
Cheers.

Hi Greg,
Greetings my friend,
I was away on health issue, reason being providing a delay comment and feedback now.
A well captured image. I understand in this type of action filled scene, you have very less opportunity and time to decide, when to click and which frame to compose. That being said, a fairly captured image with motion and anticipations. Only if we could have more room in front of the preceding rider.
Good capture and thank you for sharing.
Stay safe as always.
Cheers.

Hi Darcy,
Greetings my friend,
Once again my apologies for delay comment due to health issue."a carivorous plant - Drosera capillaris", wow heard about them but first time I see them. Thank you for sharing in this edition. The subject remaining in color, while back ground is converted in to BW. Seems photo shop used. The color and light seems complementing but BW could be little more darkened, given the subject's color. Thank you for sharing.
Stay safe as always.

Hi Karen,
Greetings my friend. Apology for delay due to health issue.
A lovely image in this edition. The capture, the composition and the lights with blurry background; all seems perfect for the scene. Loved the way you have been waiting for the little fella. I agree with Darcy, you may want to tone down the yellow a bit from the background.
Lovely presentation. Thank you for sharing.
Cheers.

Hi Ingrid,
Greetings my friend.
Sincere apology for delay comment, due to personal health issue. All is well now.
I love the image that you have shared with us in this edition. The light seems little flat probably due to sun being high when you took the shot. I appreciate what you did with tom's suggestion. Spectacular editing though.
Thank you for sharing my friend.
Cheers.

Hi Darcy,
Greetings my friend.
My apologies for delay response in this edition. Soon after I have submitted, I was diagnosed with the Covid for 3rd time and just recovered from that a day or two now. All well now.
You are right I wanted to look at the scene as in photo journalistic point of view than street scene. I wanted to tell you the story of this animal and like thousands other, who are being held against their will in a barbaric manner. This type of treatment must stop.
My two cents.
Kindest regards.

It's very interesting Doug,
Just use your finger to separate the subject from all distraction. AI these days are very very advanced I believe.
You should try them as well, different type of fun in doing that.
My two cents. |

Hi Doug,
Thank you for your feedback. In floral photography, except for the detail manipulation of the image, I always look for a filler, like buds or leaves or another small flower adjacent to keep the image with a story. thats why the buds are there to added to the scene and story. Your perception of distraction is also logical from a different POV. I always consider some balance for the primary subject with additional buds or leaves, but they are only my POV.
Thank you for your kind feedback.
Stay safe as always.
Cheers.
