Hi Bill
To be honest they are real child soldiers from one of their militia group. They were not posing & they had satchel full of Ammos, that they were carrying. it was on the ground & I was very fortunate to have them in the frame. Usually we were told not to interact with rebels. As you can see I landed in the rebel camp proximity. I had to make sure that I am friendly towards them & want them to be friendly towards us. Generally they used to respect for UN mission. Still I wanted to be cozy with them in the first place. Yes I was flying as a Captain or PIC of the particular Mission. Thanks for your kind feedback. I have been very lucky to serve the UN peace enforcing mission in DRC. We were the first to establish the mission there in Ituri Region, north eastern sector of DRC. |

Bill I think the composition is standard but with a limited visual cues on the top it left the viewers wondering what lay upper side of the fall. My personal observation if you had any opportunities to shoot enough from the top and keeping the upper and lower part of the falls in a balance. Just my view. But either way this is a nice view. Yellowstone is in my bucket list for later. |

Hi Darcy, A bit late for my feedback amid all this corona pandemic. This is a lovely image but the frame is a bit too tight. I guess, that was the best view given your situation. Tac sharp and details of the flower make the available background complementing each other. Nice work. |

A tight frame of B&W image out of a color image. By converting into B&W the main subject became more prominent in the frame. Loved the way you treated the lights and cropping. Nicely done and loved the composition. Well done my friend. |

I love the simple composition with the placement of lights on the main subject. Even the reflection of the main subject on the glass floor made this simple image an unique look. A simple yet strong image. Loved the composition my friend.. :D
Cheers. |

Hi Peter,
A very innovative and creative work. The work shows itself, you needed to spend a lot of time and effort, to put up the show. I understand the time lapses during the video. But could you also tell me, how did you make the sequences of the complete or final work? As I am not very familiar with the seasons around your region, probably need some of your pointer regarding this sequences that you have followed. The animations worked very well, between the scene though. Great work my friend. Cheers. |

Hi Fion.
Watched your video of the Polar Bear family and amazing aurora dancing. As already peter mentioned they are rare opportunities and often encountered many challenges. I loved the way the Polar Bear family was reacting to the human contact, even though from a distance. looks like they were posing for you guys. Instead of lot of stills of the Polar Bear family, I would rather prefer a lot of video footage. I am sure the opportunities are very limited during those events. Probably you could use some head mounted Go Pro for shooting this amazing animals while shooting your still images. That way probably you could have more video footages at the same time. I am planning some of this trip and planning to get the most out of the, limited whatever exposure we might have. Loved your video and they are amazing. Congrats again. Cheers. |

Dear Friend,
A lovely serene drone work. Enjoyed the video.
I have few suggestions too.
The opening scene, could be from the very low flight following the streams and the "Title" could appear from that panning of the stream as the drone pace forward on the stream. The kayaks were an added interest. But the scene was shot from little bit higher height. It would probably be interesting, if you could descend a little bit more to zoom in - on the kayaks as it is approaching and as they are going away. The track of the drone, I believe are well planned and decided. It was a lovely drone work. Congrats again. Cheers. |

Hello my friend. Thank you for your kind comment and appreciation. I had a tripod but not for the phone, I was using the tripod to shoot from my Canon 5D MarkIII that evening. Those videos and images are still not on the editing table due to my lousy management of time. I had the iPhone's images and video handy so I made the project for this months entry. Next time surely I will carry an additional tripod for my phone as well. I would take your suggestion for my video as future guidance. I will get those clips from canon 5D mark II sometime soon to make another one with them. Thank you for your suggestions my friend. I appreciate your time to watch my project. Sincere Regards. |

Dear Larry Treadwell, My friend thank you very much for your kind comments and appreciation on my project. Yes I am aware of the Bellagio but not yet visited the place. Anyways that's in my bucket list for later. Actually I tried to narrate a story with the sequences or order, that I have organized. The day scene of the main subject; is an intro to follow up by the night scene. The laser show and their sequences was not the same sequences, they were taken multiple time. If you closely follow, you will find there are multiple scene stitched in the whole project. I would like to make the audience attention right in the main course, as soon as the intro is over. My focus is to keep the attention and interest of the audiences, soon after the intro is up. I should have used a tripod for mobile phone, I understand that. Frankly I had a tripod with which I was managing my Canon 5DMarkIII shooting of the same subject. The video of that machine is not yet selected and brought in to the project; as sometime I can be very very lousy. As the phone footage was handy, I just used them to make the project. I will make the video sometime later. I have visited Your suggested links, and they are amazing and worth watching. Someday when I will make my cinema or movies; surely they are going to be a great lesson and guideline for them. I appreciate your taking time and see my project. Thank you sir. I am indebted to you; for all the information and knowledge's, that you have shared and educated me. Sincere regards. |
