Nice image I agree with Dorinda to crop from the bottom It would change the image but by making it stronger
If you added the snow falling I would leave it out since it looks unreal If it was in camera capture leave it |

I love rust and rot Nice sharp capture of the pipe I agree with Leonid that this needs a crop As is ,it is two images I would crop even more from the left I think I would also clone out the white box below the pipe
Your back view of an upscale hotel reminds me of Down And Out In Paris And London by George Orwell Although it was written in 1933 I would follow Orwell's advice to eat in small family restaurants not fancy hotel restaurants where steaks might be picked up off the floor and brushed off and shined with saliva!! |

Nice portrait of Max I would prefer his eyes more open I agree with Dorinda that background is distracting
A recent presenter deals with distracting background with textures She doesn't just select her subject she selects it by gradually to removing the background with masking and putting textures above and below the subject with different blend modes and opacities With this method you can always replace or add textures and change blend modes
I attach one of her examples |

Nice journal shot I see the story you are telling However, I think a tighter crop just with the boy and the red bench would have more impact |

Impressive use of technique I like the starbursts
Unfortunately the colors do not appeal to me and there seems to be distracting vertical lines |

Lovely sharp capture of the dwarf lupine I would blur the grasses in the left background since I find them distracting |

Very interesting flower and tree My Plant net plant identifier agrees with Dan's identification I wonder if the blossom is usuallyruffled since the plantnet flower looked like this Nice and sharp due to focus stacking I think it would benefit from a background texture |
