Nice sharp macro I think it should be more angled |

Nice sharp landscape with a good leading line I agree with Leonid that the sky should be replaced and with Dorinda that the rock placed off center The rapids add interest to the river |

IA nice sharp landscape I agree with cropping the top of the sky and having the orange patch more uncentered I think the zip line should be removed |

A wonderful idea A simple but effective and eye catching image
Works as high key However, I would like more contrast and sharpness I agree with Leonid about having a darker shadow But I would just darken the natural shadow |

Wonderful colors There seems to be a curve on the sidewalk and line just above his head Perhaps straightening with perspective or free transform
I agree with Dorinda and Jody especially about cropping out the top window and lights
As I always think less is more One of my camera club friends has a saying that there is always a better picture inside the one you took |

I majored in Biology in college and I seem to still be a lister and namer in all my pursuits But aren't our differences what makes meeting and learning from new colleagues so interesting ? |

Thank you Marge for your comments and suggestions I can't remember if I sprayed the flower (I always bring a little mister when photographing flowers outside)
or if the water sprinklers had left the drops The community garden was moved I have to see if the new site has been activated I used to visit the original garden after visiting the library behind it I used to visit the library nearly every day, and would check the garden periodically
The garden site was repurposed for a train parking lot
I have been using the digital library since the pandemic |

A lovely sharp capture However I would crop the image and clone or darken most of the buds leaving the two front lilies and the right bud |

Very interesting nature shot Nice colors and leading line Having the dew drop on its back is a bonus I agree with Murphy Hektner to try to sharpen the spider Interestingly there is an Australian spider known as the Dewdrop spider but the dewdrop in that case is actually the spider's silvery abdomen |

This is a wow image sharply focused and beautiful I think if you cropped to the center of the flower eliminating the green fronds and filled the background with black it would also be a winner
I have an app called PlantNet which identified this as Isopogon anemonifolus common name Broad leafed Drumsticks It is a Proteaceae. However it says it is native to eastern New South Wales Australia I looked up Santa Cruz arboretum Your flower seems to be a South African Proteaceae. Also called Leucospermum or Yellow Pincushion Protea However its greenery looks more like the Australian variety As a side piece of info the macadamia nut comes from another Proteaceae

Thank you for administering the group
A lovely poppy I think the left petal is overblown and has thus lost detail The background is beautiful I think the vignette is a little too obvious and I would like to see more of your background I recently was told if you can see a vignette you need to pull back I think I should have left more background above the poppy I cropped too far
I used Nik Viveza 2 to get more detail in the left upper petal |

Nice capture of the seed pods which I believe are the fruits which form after the poppy flower is fertilized The bulging area is filled with the black poppy seeds
The center seed pod has a compelling graphic design nicely captured here.
I think the black and white conversion was a good choice
I think the front three pods are the main subject I would crop out most of the left side and blur the background more I wrote this and then saw that Charles said the same I also think these three should all be in sharper focus and that the bright spots on the right should be cloned out and /or darkened with a subtle vignette I sharpened the less sharp ones by using control points in Nik Viveza 2
Another possibility would be to isolate the center sharp pod and make that the image with the background blurred I have also attached a quickly done version of the single poppy below |
