30 Feb 21 Comment Very nice image I think house needs to be larger by cropping from right and top I also wanted to keep and emphasize the winter dry grass It has such great texture I agree with Robert that the many beautiful clouds in Dorinda's revision pull the eye away from the winter grass and house I added a custom sky of mine which had fewer clouds I think the foreground in my image needs to be lightened more like yours Feb 26th
30 Feb 21 Comment Beautiful sun flare I would crop in from right and try HDR to cut down blown out areas This is a good subject for HDR with in camera bracketing However sometimes Aurora HDR HDR Pro or Photomatix can do an HDR with one exposure
You could crop more from the bottom and add birds to use it as a background as Jon noted
I did this roughly using Aurora HDR and some old birds of mine which needed to be blacker and cut out more		 Feb 26th

I had worked on this per a recent Webinar on texture by Marie Altenburg So I have one where I used my own texture,but I did not finish it in time for this months image		 Feb 14th

30 Feb 21 Comment Very nice composition and close up I think the sharp mushroom in the original with the slightly blurred scallion behind has more impact and contrast and I prefer it to the one with the Topaz filter
I had not noticed the sharp red edge until I read the other comments but it needs to be changed or removed from touching the scallion		 Feb 11th
