Thank you Tom for your kind words It was a decisive moment, but my technique obviously needs work
Thank you Leonid that is much better with the blurred background How did you do it? |

Lovely colors. It makes me think of a bouquet for a bridesmaid.
The red flower seems to be a little too bright. I agree with Dorinda to do something to try to bring out more detail in the red. I would clone in more blue Plumbago petals to cover the green stems on the mid left. If I understand you this is a blended image so you could use an area of blue flowers without stems or clone them out on the lower layer before combining. Here I selected and cloned out the green Then I used Viveza 2 and Camera Raw Filter to sharpen and bring in more detail in the red See changed image |

A very creative treatment of the sharply captured swans and lady
I applaud your multi layer work and the result
I love the frame you used, but I would make the left edge parallel to the right currently the frame looks slightly skewed.
I also like the light you added from the right upper edge
I would clone in or somehow have a brown board under her right foot like the ones under her left foot and below
I would leave a little more space between the frame and the left edge of the image
I would leave out the fence like black lines I feel they detract rather than add to the image |

A wonderful sharp capture of the harbinger of spring Nice angular position of the stem.Lovely colors Nice creamy background I looked up to see if these were bluebells and your image is much better than the ones I found on Google!
My only possible suggestion would be to crop just below the top leaf I do not think the bottom leaf is needed I also cropped in a little from left rt and top |

I like the sharp capture at the "decisive moment"
(I first saw black skimmers fishing at The Merritt Island National Wildlife refuge near Cocoa Beach on the east coast. That was when I was still birdwatching rather than photographing.)
Your creative treatment is interesting I would make the beveled area just a bit larger
Could you outline the steps to make a beveled edge and drop shadow like this? |

Thank you for your advice and kind comments I did not know that about left handed polo
If use the image again I will go back to the real direction
I missed that area of the fence I had blurred the far background after selecting the rider and horse
The major problem I had was I am not 100% technically proficient with my camera and did not have the camera on continuous autofocus which would have made it sharper I think I will also try starting with shutter priority at least 1/1000 or more and autoISO next time when speed is so important. I also planned to try panning, but the best laid plans--- |
