Thank you for your nice comments.
The birds were on a nest. The boardwalk is quite close to the nest at this point. Maybe fifty feet, but I am a bad distance estimator. In past years this tree island was full of Great Blue Heron , Double Crested Cormorant and Anhinga nests This year I saw only one Great Blue, several anhingas and the rest Wood Storks!
I took the RAW image into Lightroom basic. Then into Photoshop CC where I removed a distracting anhinga. I do not see pixellation Perhaps the rough skin of the head looks like pixellation to you. I did not see the dust spot. I removed the small dot to the right of the front bird's mid back easily with Lightroom spot remover I will have to check my images more closely
I have attached another image of part of the birds' ritual with the anhinga left in
These shots were taken as part of a camera club project to use different exposure, shooting and metering modes from our usual. These birds were taken using a rapid burst of shots with continuous autofocus. Last night I presented 20 images from the project along with four other members. I was surprised that only five of us took advantage of this helpful exercise. We have over ninety competing members. |

Great record shot of a terrible event I agree with Jon that it is a journalistic image and tells a story For a fine arts shot I would crop in to have the destroyed car alone, thus I would crop on the right to the back of the right door and from the top to leave the concrete ruins on the left |

Beautiful colors and image I agree with your crop at the bottom but would like more space especially above the right most lamp Just the opposite of what Alison suggested |

Colorful shot of the boats. I would crop in from right and top to leave the top of the red boat and parts of three yellow boats. I would leave the grassi. In any case removing it would involve a lot of work |
