Yes, I have other shots without the white central area I was working on reflections as a topic that weekend and this building on a day with good clouds and no cars in the lot in the late afternoon offers a good subject and I worked it for some time. I look at this building whenever I pass imagining different images. This is something I do: search for photo possibilities, preferably with someone else driving.
I have also used my iPhone here and gotten some shots I liked, but the Sony gives me more leeway for cropping due to the higher resolution and larger sensor. |

I think it is worth working on I think the image is about the flower pots If you have another of the green and orange yellow shutter or door below I would like to see it I think it would make a good graphic Even with amount shown it may work. But here I think it draws the eye from the pots See my crop |

If we did not tell people we had used cell phones,I doubt many would suss it out!
This image shows the power of cell phone images and the importance of the camera you have with you. It also shows that it is the Indian not the tomahawk that is important.
The sharpness and composition is great, but I agree with Dorinda's recommendation to crop, thus increasing our focus on the wonderful curve of river and the mountains.
Never having had the luck to be at Denali I wonder is this misty appearance actually how the clouds look?

A nice sharp capture. The polarizer reduces glare from the water and makes the greens stand out.I agree with the comments and Dorinda's changes and crop
I have two questions for Robert and anyone else first I have read that polarizing filters cause a problem with skies having dark banding when used at wide angles. How wide an angle is meant? Second do you mean that you file multiple notches into your filter frame or does the one notch work from then on Robert? Do you carry a file in your camera bag? |

A nice sharp capture of my favorite topics: rust and textures. However, I think a crop would work and I attach one. I would like to crop even more off the top right but since I like the anchor and its chain and shadow that would not be possible
I brought the image into LR classic CC and used basic and highlights to brighten it a little more then I took it into PS CC and cloned out the pinkish cabin top which drew my
eye ,cropped it and added a rust colored stroke |

Nice sharp capture of the foreground foliage.Nice leading line of creek. I agree with Leonid's crop and cloud substitution since the featureless sky detracts from the original. |

A nice sharp image Captures her close concentration. The swirls of her hair and their yellow color contrast with her blue hoodie The yellow sharpener picks up the yellow from her hair leading my eye in a pleasant triangle from her hair to the sharpener and her hands and back to the hair.
(The ubiquitous iPod detracts from the focus on the drawing, but I don't know where you can find someone less than 70 without a device and white ear piece. I am over 70 and often have one in my own ear!) |
