Nice sharp capture of an unguarded moment. Beautiful eyes well focused. This is great for a candid memory, but the position of her shoulders makes the pose seem awkward. The white line and green rectangle on the right is distracting for me and need to be darkened or cloned out. Another possibility which retains the unguarded look is a crop See my crop |

I like Robert's idea of a crop and red seat, but of course then it would no longer be white on white. I think I would crop even more from the right leaving just the angled pipes and front tire, from the top and up to the bikestand. Also clone out most of the green weeds I only cloned out a few I added more to the left side and tried to clone the tire back in |

Yes, that is what I was interested in seeing. I like the original better, but would crop the dark bottom by half and maybe open the shadows just a little. I brought it into LR and cropped, but the opening shadows gave funny grayish masses I guess from the long exposure and software See my crop
What is a start reduction? |

I like the dreaminess brought by the fog I agree with cropping as Robert advises. |

This is a great abstract. Very sharp. Wonderful blue color of the slats with range of brightness. I find the bright spot of ground below distracting and would darken it I have a sample in which I darkened the ground with adjustment brush in LRCC and some cloning in PSCC I have been putting a 2 stroke middle gray around my images to cause separation from the background when projected So I did so here also |

Beautiful capture of the Milky Way. At first I was thinking the stream with its blue color might be distracting, but on reflection (not a pun!) I think it creates a balance to the bow of the Milky Way.However, I would like to see the original sky capture since my alternative view would be a cropped dark foreground. |

Good focus on the yellow stamens I understand what you were trying to achieve. I agree with Robert's rotation. I know that some people do not mind the closest part of a macro image being out of focus, but I prefer the closest part to be in focus. Perhaps a different angle would allow the stamens to be in focus with the background out to still allow an ethereal quality. |
