I always enjoy new members in our group. The beach is my happy place so I love to look at sunset/sunrise scenes. I do like your crop with the wider angle and the taking out the sailboat. It is very tranquil and speaks to me. It certainly evokes happy memories for me too. Again...welcome to our great group. |

I really like the vertical look of this photo. I agree that it needed more room on the left for him to travel. Love that you left the flag in color so it is definitely the main subject. You did a good job blurring the background and texturizing the ground.

They are pretty creepy for sure! I am a big cropper and would crop more closely to get more of a close up of their scary faces and teeth. Maybe B&W would make them pop more too. This is when you are glad you have a lens that can keep you safe! Nice photo! |

Lovely photo Richard! In looking at all the different versions that everyone tried, I think I like Bev's the best. I like that she added more vibrance and sharpness. With the white behind him softened, I think it seems more natural. Welcome to our fun group! |
