Nice shot. You captured the moment which is hard and the picture does tells a story of life. Could try to crop in more, right top and side. This will help with the bright background. Dan |

Hi Evelyn, I like fog because it makes the ordinary look different. I really like the trees wanted to make this the main subject of the photo and by looking more closely when looking at the branches you notice more. Thank you Dan |

You picked a good subject and the right aperture. If you like to photograph birds Utube is a great resource. One of the things you will learn is to make a perch by the feeder that the bird can rest on before going to the feeder, this makes it look more natural. If the back round is far enough away from the subject you can real nice bokeh. You also could use more light on the bird. You could put light on just the bird in Lightroom. Birds are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. I look forward to seeing more bird photographs. Thank you Dan |

Ginny, I like the colors and the composition. The changes I would make if I took this photo. Before I took this photo I would remove the leaf on the right side of the photo blocking the flower. I do not know what aperture you where using when you took this photo? I would try opening up the lens to see if it would give me greater bokeh. The last ting I would do is rotate the photo so the back part of the flower opening is even in the photo. I hope this helps. Dan |
