I really like this.
Another great shot from you.
I agree with Chris about cropping the trees on the left, but I would leave the front part, it adds depth to the photo.
I would also darken the Capitol dome a little.

Hi Chris,
I went to my balcony garden now and checked the flowers, all the petals of all the flowers have texture, there are no petals that are completely smooth.
But in general it's a matter of taste, as you like.
I like your edit too.

Great photo, I added texture to the center petal and brightened it with the Luminar 4 filter.
In Photoshop I added a vignette around the center petal.
What do you think?

Hi Chris,
I decided to add some texture to the flower,
i used the filter Luminar 4, and added:
1. HDR Smart Structure: +100
2. HDR clarity: 37
3. HDR Microstructure: -19
in photoshop I reduced the transparency to 57%, added a mask and went over the flower with a brush.
Your thoughts?
