Hello Bunny,
I admire your feat, shooting in such weather conditions is not easy,
I was in almost the same conditions when I climbed a mountain in Iceland to photograph volcanic eruptions.
We all froze, got wet from the rain and returned with nothing, the volcano "slept", but after a couple of hours in the restaurant we saw a live report from the site of the volcano, he "woke up" and spewing lava in rivers.
So you're luckier than me.
The photo is wonderful and your description is mesmerizing.

I decided to dream a little
I removed the spitz (flower) on the left,
then blurred the background a little where this flower was,
added some sharpening to the petals of the flower.

Hi Bob,
Our people like to travel around the country and in general they keep the forests and mountains clean, but unfortunately there are those (as you noticed) who want to save time and money and dump construction waste into the sea.
We are struggling with this and there are not bad results.
