Lovely portrait, Cheryl. I think the cloning you did in the trees works well. Your subject looks very relaxed, which is a big part of portrait photography. I agree with Angela...if you could include all of her hair I think that would look better, but overall a very nice portrait! |

This looks like a very peaceful spot and I think you captured it well. My only thought is perhaps a little less sky and more foreground if the foreground is interesting. That way the horizon wouldn't be right in the middle. Just a thought. |

Interesting shot, Hema! I like seeing silhouettes like this, but I find the bits of backlighting distracting. Could that be removed? The one star in the sky is nice, and it does seem as if he's talking to it. The starburst is also nice! |

Great street shot, Randall! I like the dark, almost black background! We see just enough of the bricks to ground the image! Very well done! |

Noel, this is a great wildlife shot! I love the reflection and the fact that you caught it with the fish in his mouth! Great shot! |

Angela, I love this shot, and I was going to try this exact thing, but haven't gotten to it, yet! How did you make the background solid black? I've read about ways to do it, but was wondering how you did it! This is stunning! I have the Velvet 85, and was wondering if I should look into the 56. Now, you have me thinking! Great shot! |
