Thank you Paul for your thoughtful comment. I also think that the image has more character with the grass fringe. |

Successful landscape image with beautiful clouds. Good composition and suitable format. I would find it interesting to see the image in a slightly desaturated version. |

Image with good structure interesting colors. With the clearly visible visitors it is self-explanatory. For me, the first thought was also: why is the top partially cut away? From my point of view, above the railing should be at least a thin strip of sky in the picture. |

Beautiful mood image with great colors. The long exposure is successful and gives the image a dreamy touch. The low sun gives shade to the headland and emphasizes its interesting structure. It would be interesting to see the image in a slightly brighter version (maybe a little less vignetted?). |

I like the colors and the many parallel lines of the image. Also, the docks and the ships give a character of vastness. If I had to choose one of the two images, I would choose the original with a narrow border next to the crane facility and more port facility on the left side - so something in between. |

A good picture with beautiful colors. I like the reflections of the rising sun in the windows of the boats and on the bow of the rowing boat. The format fits. It is also good that the dark hem was left on the upper edge. The picture tells a story. |

Thank you Keith for your comment. I see this as you do as well. Since the strip is very narrow, it can be cropped away, for example with a 16x9 format. |

Thanks Francois for your comment. I think the narrow strip of shore gives the image depth and also prevents the reflection from floating, so it gives a kind of socket. But of course that is a matter of view. |
