Successful image with a nice composition, a good balance between the old tree and the medieval tower and great colors. The path leads into the picture where as a goodie you can see another building through the gate of the tower. I like this picture. |

An excellent picture. I like the composition, the colors and the light, which throws beautiful shadows. The dark background and the position of the pots give the image depth. A great still life shot. |

A landscape picture that represents the situation on the spot well and brings harmony into the picture with the reflection of the trees in the water. I think masking can be used to accentuate parts of the image. I would try to highlight the bark of the trees and accentuate the sky better with contrast. For the green, the saturation could be reduced a bit. |

great landscape picture, which with the road leading into the picture and the offset trees represent a fine composition with depth. The light gives a lovely landscape with successful colors. I like the picture very much. |

Lovely image from Iceland where the joie de vivre is well portrayed despite (or because of) the difficult weather. I also like the shooting angle and the beautiful colors. |

Great image. I love the black silhuettes of the trees and foreground and the beautiful colors of the sunset, which gently change from blue to orange. I would think it a pity to lighten the black areas as they are an essential part of this fine image. |

Thank you Lin for your comment, which I appreciate. With the tree on the left, I'm trying to add depth to the image. The problem was that the leaves kept moving in the wind and at a shutter speed of 6.5 sec. blurred the image slightly. I had to wait for the right moment, as the wind stopped. |

Thank you Paul for your fine comment. I consider the remark about the overlapping of the tree with the castle to be excellent. I think that without it the tree on the left would not have fit into the picture - it's well possible that the picture would have been better anyway. |
