33 Nov 19 Reply Thanks Bob for your answer. I misspelled the filter - it's a GND filter (graduated neutral density filter) - excuse me. Nov 21st
33 Nov 19 Comment A picture with a lot of atmosphere. It has an atmospheric effect on me and gives me the feeling of vastness and tranquillity, which the choice of format will certainly distinguish. The bright colours of the boats give the impression of an area with well situated and careful people. The fresh colours make a good contrast to the pastel colours of the water and the beach in the background. I like the picture very much. Nov 21st
33 Nov 19 Comment Well worked out picture with the three rocks standing in a line. The stepless transition from water to sky gives the picture the character of a watercolour painting. I find it interesting that the tree of the first and highest rock has managed to grow upwards, whereas the tree of the second rock has not. A beautiful picture. Nov 21st
33 Nov 19 Comment Good picture with three layers. Below the savannah with 2 single trees and a forest border. In the middle the sweeping dunes and above the sky with dramatic clouds. Special are the structures of the single areas: below the dotted base, the middle part with many diagonals and above the chaotic sky (which I wished for bigger to keep the proportions). I find the choice of black and white suitable. A successful picture. Nov 21st
33 Nov 19 Comment Romantic picture with great symbolism. Autumn fits well with the decaying hut with fence. The autumn colours dominate the picture. It also has beautiful lines (shore, edge of forest and fence/hut roof). Both certainly contribute to the charm of this successful picture. I like it. Nov 21st
33 Nov 19 Comment Picture with the character of a carpet knotted with autumn colours. It is also nice that the sky is separated by a cloud band and thus has two different cloud characters. The three hills bring me back to the reality of a beautiful landscape. I really like the photo - well done! Nov 21st
33 Nov 19 Comment Beautiful picture with great dynamics. The partially shining sun and the rainbow create a special atmosphere. If you divide the picture diagonally, the lower side is water and the upper mainland is. I think that this also determines the attraction of this picture. Nov 21st
33 Nov 19 Reply Thank you Bob for your valuable feedback and the picture pattern. Yes I like being in the mountains. The fact that they can be reached from home within half a day makes this easier.
I think the hint to improve tight dynamic ranges with HDR is excellent. The problem is, that each picture has a size of 110 MB. With this technology, I triple the amount of memory I need. That's why I try to improve tight dynamic ranges problems with a GND filter.

33 Nov 19 Reply Thank you Elisabeth for your feedback, which I appreciate. I recently attended a Lightroom workshop where it was said that the processing of a picture depends on the shape of the day. If you edit the same image one week apart, there would be different results. In this sense, a picture is never really finished. Nov 18th
33 Nov 19 Reply Thanks Paul for the feedback, which I answer late. The Meglisalp is a very special place where you only meet hikers, cows and goats. However, the weather has a big influence on life up here. I see the way the same as you - it is central for the picture. It's a pity that it wasn't walked so early in the morning by any hiker. 33 Nov 19 Comment Dear Marilyn, Ken

Thanks for your good feedback. Since I didn't influence the saturation, I brightened the picture. I think this has improved the picture's message.
