Several have commented about the red on her face and yes it might have been toned down a bit. But I really like the red in her hair, gives the image a dynamic quality.
The set of her mouth, and the dark coloration, gives her a real hard look. Combined with the red hair and eyes she looks like somebody you don't want to cross!

BTW: the annual race, from which this photo was captured, ran again past my house on Sunday. But despite taking over 700 images I don't think I got one "keeper" from this years run. 		Oct 29th
56 Oct 19 Comment Yeah, the face red smear is a bit strong, might have turned it down a bit. But, comparison with the original shows she was fairly flushed.

The thing that always bothers me about this image is her eyes. They are dead.

56 Oct 19 Comment The runner does have red hair, the processing accentuated it. I probably boosted it some.

I built the background with a simple gradient starting with an eye dropper from her green jacket and fading to an eye dropper from the grey of her shirt. The Cezanne filter gave it texture.
