Magnificent capture of this tangier Richard. Even with your crop, it is still very a good photo. Beautiful color and nice bokah for the background. You captured the eye perfectly.
The crop may have created more noise around the beak and chest as they do look a bit fuzzy. |

Wonderful capture of the steam from the bird. Almost as if it was blowing smoke rings. Even with our high ISO, there is reallly limited noise in the background. Nice detail on the bird and catching the eye is key. |

I agree with Isaac. If I were there, I'd want to be hitching a ride.
Love the perspective of nature moving as one and the connection between the predetor and the potential prey. Beautiful contrast with the dark greens and the white of the bird. |

David, Beautiful capture of wild horses, and the snow added so much to the story. You have great action by all five of them and the two in front are sharp and detailed. Love how their manes exhibit movement and the kicking up of the snow... I can feel them coming towards me.
Lighting is well adjusted and highlights are rich. Colors are perfect as well. Love the small grass in the bottom of the image to futher add perspective. Gorgeous shot! |

Definitely a bugs eye perspective. It's like a surprise moment for the grouse. Beautiful connection with the eyes and the reflections are sharp as well. Might be a little harder to crop out the upper right a little more as I think it would offset the image too much.
Nice tones and capture of the plumage in the neck, sharp and well detailed. Very nice capture. |
