I am hoping this isn't a duplicate because I thought I commented on this photo yesterday. I really like the monochrome rendition. You can really feel the impending rain. I agree with Jennifer's comments. As far as the woman hanging over the way she is -- she is obviously looking for something and probably afraid she will fall off the boat if she doesn't hang on like that... I think you did a great job! |

I love street photography and feel you captured the real sense of what it is like to be on an airport shuttle bus. I especially like the man with the glasses almost in the center of the photo and Canon, I think would love this photo! While the black marks on the right hand side are "real", I find them a bit distracting and probably would take them out of the photo. I think you did a great job considering all that was around you ... |

Jennifer -- Thanks for your perspective and taking the time to show me exactly what you meant. No apologies necessary especially because you came through this month and remembered about last month. Your critique is valued. |

I too love the roof lines. I don't know whether it is my monitor or my eyes but the original roof seems to have a pattern that stands out much more prominently than the monochrome. Maybe it is the color of the doors that effects the roof design. I appreciate the background information about the venue especially the cow and feel the cows fits in more in the monochrome. I loved the tip that Lynne gave you from the 2 day conference. I am going to put that in my notes. Great photo! |

Thank you so much for critiquing it the way you did. You brought out some points I hadn't thought of in the way you did, especially reducing the excessive contrast between the mostly shady scene and the splotches of sunlight. |

Thank you so much for your comments. I totally agree with you that the monochrome rendition is much more compelling. |
