Ken,
Emboss is done as follows;
duplicate layer.
use Filter-stylize-emboss
Emboss the duplicate layer; set to about 6 pixels.
set blend to hard light; flatten image.
Hope this helps explain Emboss. see enclosed file.

This picture screams that it should have some liquid added; any color; I agree that one should see the ends of all the straws. I might have use the Nik filter and given it a dreamy look. |

Very nice shot taken from a helicopter. Lighting is just great. There is enough white in the picture to help balance it. The shapes in the sand clay help make the picture; I might have taken some of the sky from the original and put it into original 2. |

What makes this image is the background that you have created. You have also maintained the mood of the two people. This is being picky; but, I might have made the bench a higher opacity so that the people are not sitting on air. |

One image is good, but, two is better! I can see that you had fun experimenting. The colors and shapes are very nice. I like creative images; I might have embossed the images to bring out some texture. |

I enjoy your creative pictures. The hole in the tree makes it a good subject and creates a lot of impact. You did a good job of making the bunny 3D. I would like to learn how to do that. |

The shadows certainly help make the picture. Since the post supports are so close to the building, a lot of the depth is lost; perhaps, as David suggested, perhaps photographing at an angle might help. |

A windmill makes a good subject for 3D. The trees give the image some nice depth. I notice that part of the tree on the left of the image is in front of the window; however, it does not detract from the image. |

The images made into spheres makes a very unusual effect. I like the way the leaves provide a lot of depth. I have never tried spheric deformation in SPM; I will check it out, since I like the effect that it gives. |
