Thank you. Your version is much better. I get rid the three birds and enhance by adding light/color/vignette and a cop. |

I love her expression. It is a wonderful shot. Nice color contrast with the black against a yellow background, it drew my eye to the subject. You nicely composed and cropped the photo to a square format of the frame making the subject pop. Good use of selective focus technique, so the sharpness of the eyes and a lip are obvious. For me, this is a winner. |

The image is very interesting and attractive to me - colors/shapes/texture. My first impression was "Wow. what a marvelous visual meal for the eyes...." Minor suggestion - add some space in left hand side of the frame and let this monster to march on. Thank you for sharing. |

Welcome Richard, you started off a good one. My first impression was "Wow, it is beautiful...." I really like the vivid colors in sky and volcanoes with striking pointed cones. Nitpicking, two bright spots on the left bottom corner are a bit distracting, I would clone out. I think you give greater emphasis to the volcanoes and the sky over the lake water, I would recommend add " Sunset at Lake Atitlan, Guatemala" on your image title. Well done! |

This is a nice portrait of a cat. Clementine seems enjoy watching the show attentively. I like the sign "internet for cats" in foreground to give a hint about the cat's action. wires in left lower corner are distraction, I would suggest cropping out. |

Just about everything works here : lighting, sharpness, facial expression and pose. My minor quibble is that the hot red background is a bit overpowering. also the young musician does not looking at the music note. I would suggest cropping out the right hand side about 1/4 portion to make a bit more attention to the young violinist. Please see attached photo. |

I like this image very much. The subject is focus, sharp and detail. I also love its simplicity with strong side lighting and nice texture. To me, the story is the tiny frog. Nothing else matters. I would highlight the frog by 1) Rotate 180 degree clockwise so that the acorn stays in foreground as a leading line toward the frog. 2) Crop tight to a square format to exhibit the scale. 3) Clone out some distraction spots. I feel it really add focus to the main attraction better. Attached edit version. |
