Your image is definitely an eye catcher. I was drawn to the picture by lighting; very well processed. Nice composition with the FG(grasses), mid ground(the single tree) and a lovely BG(the Milk Way sky & the hill). I would crop off a little from the bottom, so the tree isn't in the center. |

The waterfall passed just gorgeous. The silk effect on the waterfall is very pleasant. The colors are very vivid. It is sharp too. Nice work. |

What struck me first about this photo is beautiful purple colors. I also like that you have good detail vein-like patterns in the petal. By the way, I did notice that your image tittle states "Blue Iris", yet on my screen it shows purple hue (?) I concur with Audrey that the leaf in the foreground is a bit distracting, so I play it with PS. Here is the result |

The lighting and color are both gorgeous, and the water drops make this an outstanding image. I think I would have cropped a little from the bottom to take out that lighter spot at the bottom right. I also agree with Bill's suggestion: pick one main subject. After all , just beautiful. |

The center of attention indeed is the moth. It is sharp and the colors were right. Great capture. I did notice that the horizontal line on the top of frame and the moth stand created somewhat static feeling. Audrey's version with rotation and cropping changes the image from stagnant mood to more dynamic feeling for the image. |

Lovely! The flower is in a great spot in the frame and very appealing image. I especially love the purity of the image: simple composition, a few basic colors and elemental shapes. Well done! Welcome to the group. |
