39 Feb 22 Comment The center of this image is beautiful. The light, the tones, the sharpness all work to grab my eye, The image is composed well, and the curve of the wheel contrasts with the straight lines. The texture of the wood surface is excellent. If the image is going to be used on a black background it needs some sort of white frame, and some of the corners are too dark, mainly on the right side. Overall, it's a very nice image. Feb 10th
39 Feb 22 Comment The image is well composed and the eye is very sharp. The tones on his body help to bring out the details in his feathers. In the color image, I first see the eye, the red beak, and the green belly. In the monochrome image, that impact is gone. The bird himself looks fat and bored, and without color, the energy in the image is gone. Feb 10th
39 Feb 22 Comment You were fortunate to be able to photograph her. She has such an interesting face and the light hits it perfectly. Placing her in front of her loom creates a real feeling of place. The rolls of yarn behind her head are a bit distracting and it might have been better to have moved her a foot to the right so that the loom was behind her whole head. Or you could have moved to your left.
The tones on her dress and jewelry are right on, and I would love to see some close-ups of her hands. The top and bottom of her clothing could be separated better using the color adjustments in SEP3.
I love this image and the lady in it.

39 Feb 22 Reply When I tried cropping at the bottom it seemed that he was closer to the camera - what I liked was that he was at the entrance to this 6-foot tunnel. I wanted to include a sense of where he was. Thanks for your comments. Feb 3rd
39 Feb 22 Comment Another excellent image - the pose is very interesting and the crop helped. The overhead light falls mostly on the guitar and not on the musician, something you had no control over, but still, I find it annoying. The black background is dramatic and isolates the musician, but it doesn't give me any idea if he is practicing in his garage or performing in an auditorium. If possible, it would be interesting to show some background to create an environment for him.

Strong work!
