This is a beautiful image. The texture of the walls, the light at the top of the wall contrasting with the darkness of the sky, and then the bright moon -they are all excellent. I'm sure Paul Strand would approve. |

The tank looks great, very sharp, as does the foreground and background. The monochrome version is much stronger than the color version and captures the feeling of 1944 better. Your image is very good, and the only part that seems out of character are the soldiers sitting on top. They look too happy and well fed. |

This is a very moody image, almost like a painting. The overall effect is wonderful, calming the viewer while transporting him or her to a distant place. You could try removing some of the lighter areas in the upper part of the image, but I doubt it would make much difference. Great work! |

This image reminds me of some of Walker Evans' work. I really like the timeless feel of the building, but I would prefer that the car was not there because it looks modern. The light is great, as are the tones. The sky is a bit strange but I hardly notice since my eye is drawn to the building. I'd love to see more images like this. |

The light on the snow is beautiful, and overall tones are fine. I would prefer more sky and less shadow at the bottom. I cropped your image to a more or less square format, concentrating on the snow and sky. What do you think? |

The texture of the wall, especially on the right, is very intense, giving an almost organic feel to the image. The shadows on the wall are great. The sky is flat, so maybe you could photoshop some clouds in. Overall, I have found trying to get a good image in midday in New Mexico very difficult. |
