The feet! I have a bad habit of cutting them off in photos, and I agree this detracts from the image. Arfan's recent image of the men waiting for something showed their feet and not their heads and was so beautiful and told such a great story. In spite of the poverty of the building, the students seemed excited and happy to be going to school. In their Buddhist culture teachers are highly respected. It's one of the reasons I like to take pictures in the schools there - the disconnect between the poverty of the place and the wonderful attitude of the young teachers and their students. |

The upper part and left side of the image are excellent - beautiful light and tones with great detail. The right side just seems to fade out and I can't tell where the image ends. As others have suggested a white stroke would help. If the image is printed on paper this wouldn't be such a problem. Good work. |

I agree, this is a wonderful image. I like the shadow on the floor of the "writing" on the window. I don't know much about infrared photography. Is there a reason you chose to use infrared? What do you think it adds to what we would normally see? |

The frog makes an interesting subject. The image is sharp with good tones, but too bright for me. If you changed the background to something more pleasing and lowered your point of view it might help. And if he was doing something - such as sticking his tongue out or jumping - that would be even more interesting. Good luck! |

The light and detail on the salt shaker (pot) are excellent. The shallow depth of field works well to make the subject stand out from the background. In fact, you might change the title to "Salt Pot" since that is what jumps out when you first look at the image. I hope the lunch was worth the wait. |

A very nice image! The tones are excellent and the lighting is also. The only suggestion I can offer is to give her a little more room - the dark background seems a little too close to her. |
