Thanks, Vincent. I do need to learn to be patient. |

Thanks. I agree that a wider dimension would be better. |

The steam really adds to this image. Maybe an even slower shutter speed would have given the image more of a feeling of movement. Still, this is great! |

Your image is technically excellent and the composition is beautiful. I do feel that her position - posture - looks uncomfortable to me. |

This is a beautiful image. The composition and isolation of the tree are great and the tones are wonderful. The focus is sharp from front to back and the sky has a wonderful mystical quality. When I look at the tree I see an eye and a mouth, giving it an organic, surreal quality. I would remove the ship to increase the surreal feeling. |

A stunning image. When I first looked at it I thought that the bird was dead but then I saw the water dripping from his legs. The light on the wing is beautiful and it and the leg (and water drops) are very sharp. The fast shutter speed worked well and you caught him at just the right moment. The round shadow at the top of the wing bothers me, and the head and neck are blurred and look as if he has no feathers there. The shallow DOF may have been too shallow as the front parts of the image are so sharp but the head, neck, and far wing are not. Your conversion to B&W is gorgeous! |
