Absolutely love the trees. I would be tempted to crop the bottom, it distracts me. The detail of the trees and high key sky are amazing. It definitely provokes a feeling. |

Hi Janice. Nice capture of the fox. This is an unusual photo, but nicely shows true behavior. Yes, I think it uses negative space well. It is interesting that he is in such an open area and it is nice to capture that. This photo would also make a good one to publish, because editors need a good subject with space to add the print. Good luck on the competition and submit it for publication! |

Hi Henry, like Andrew, I like the bigger picture with the shrubs and birds. I think including the foreground leads this picture to tell more of the story of these horses and how they live. Nice detail through out. |

Hi Julie, blackening the background really makes the photo. The colors and sharp focus on the scales really makes a striking image. I do not like the white border - keep it slightly surreal. You did a great job of taking a photo and making it really striking. |

Hi Andrew,
I agree with Don this is one of my favorites of yours. Love the dark and shine of it. I also like the color version, subtle, but enhances the interest. Well placed leading line. I might try to lighten the post just a little. |
