40 Dec 24 Comment Hi Janice. This is a nice capture from a bus and one that you will remember. I love horses, but I think it serves as context to the size of the landscape. I might crop off the bump on the right in the mountains - it has that bright white section that pulls my eye. I think this a nice travel photo that shows what it was like to be there. Dec 27th

40 Dec 24 Comment Hi Henry this is lovely and painterly. The colors are richly saturated which they sometimes can get washed out in reflections. I would also try to go wider - I now see why Monet had such wide canvases. Lovely capture Dec 27th

40 Dec 24 Comment Hi Andrew. I like all the stuff around the train because this story is about working. This is part of the job. Well done on the capture and love the train - you can see the reflections and how shiny it is without loosing any detail.

40 Dec 24 Reply Hi Janice. There is a lot of makeshift structures down by the water. This is actually part of a wharf system to get to where some work boats are docked. It may only be used on high tides. Dec 27th
