40 Apr 22 Comment I see the doll better in the before picture. I am just learning PS, but would try to dodge the doll. This is also a great opportunity to try some filters to see what kind of effect you can get. Well seen. Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Comment Really nice composition. I do like the crop Andrew made because the rock on the right is softer. I think people expect to see the sun streaming in at the top. Is there a way to warm it up? Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Comment I really like the color version. The sky, clouds and reflections are more powerful for me. I feel like the subject is the reflections. Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Comment Really great sharp depth of feild. The contrasting colors and really lovely. My eye keeps looking at the drooping flowers on the left. I might try cropping on the left even though you loose the hill in the background. Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Comment Julie this is probably the best seagull shot I have seen. I like the intensity of the the overcast day and the action of the pose. There are some great suggestions above with the highlighting. Well done. Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Comment This shot is spectacular. The lines lead you up and into and are not distracting. It is not busy - the color and patterns keep you searching the scene and I love the chandelier is the punctuation point. Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Reply Thanks Henry! I will work on some cropping and blurring. Thank you for the specific ideas. Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Reply Thanks Andrew. I was excited to get feet out of the muddy water, but should have left more room. I was there awhile and it never moved! I have so many ideas from the comments to work on and look for in the future. I did buy a monopod and it does help. Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Reply Thanks Julie. It his breeding plumage and usually they are in the muddy water and brown backgrounds here. I say some light and some green and went for it. I will try cropping some more. Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Reply Thank you Mike for taking the time to comment on my photo. Honestly I did not even see the rock behind his tail feathers. Valuable less there ha ha. I have a lot to learn in PS and will take you suggestions about what I should be looking for in a background and the separation of the subject. Thanks again! Apr 11th
40 Apr 22 Reply Thank you Sharon for taking the time to comment on my photo. I like the idea of cropping more and I will try to blur the background a bit. Adding space to bottom is a great idea and I will have to learn a lot in PS! Apr 11th
