I agree I would try more contrast. I also like the idea of cropping the bottom or make the horizon dead center... |

I love all the colors in this capture. Julie is right, I appreciate more natural silky water and just not cloud like. The composition really works making your eye work up the waterfall. It is much more interesting than most. |

Hi Alison, My Irises back up to an brown fence. I use different things to hide my backgrounds. Sometimes cloth, especially black. For this one I painted a background color to complement this color of Iris. |
