Nicely done, and I'm sure your dog is happier with all his feet. :)

I think this crop is better with that bit more room, and Helen's looks more natural to me, but as Helen says we don't know what you saw.

I did, initially on the OOC version for the crop, then on the edited version with just a simple levels layer and hit auto, then tweaked the centre slider. Neither looked like it helped as the crop was on the unedited image, and the layers suggestion was too simple and scruffy, I'm sure you could do better with the original, so I deleted them both, sorry.

You absolutely nailed this Mitch, superb capture. My only humble suggestion is for more contrast on the bird.

Hi Jason
Mitch is on fire again this month. I straightened the vertical on the cupboard and cropped out some background, and as Mitch said he was trying to read the item in the window, it meant it was a distraction from the main subject, the barman.
I darkened down the bright window (very roughly) and then changed all the background to mono to bring the focus forward.

Hi Helen, I love this sort of image and you have made it timeless so it could have been taken last week (maybe it was and you're pulling our leg, lol).
I made my comments before reading the others but they are quite similar. I liked the crop and rotation, but do find the light areas in the second window a big distraction and found myself looking more at them than the figure on the left, so cloned them out. I also added a gentle 'S' curve, what do you think?

Super image Sunil, and congrats on the 41 years together. Also thanks for you comments on Saturation last month which were appreciated but I was too late to comment again.
I think a bit more light on you both would help, not too much or the chairs and shirts start to argue. As this is for your family and friends I don't think you need more of the face, just enough to be recognised. You've also cropped off a bit of the dog's paw (poor thing)

Great image Jim, and Mitch has made some sterling observations so nothing much else to say. There is a lamp on the right hand side of the final arch that isn't replicated on the left, but that's really nit-picking.
Was that a mirror in the centre or does it go all the way to another staircase?

Hi Brenda
Never having seen one of these I can't give an answer to the colour, but having seen other pink birds it is believable. I can't really see the red in the eye, and if anything its dark and would benefit from being brighter. Overall the whole image is a bit too dark for me, I added a levels layer and hit auto, then tweaked the centre slider to taste.
I'm also with Mitch on the crop, losing some off the top is fine, but I would like more below and right, the water is quite natural and shows the environment. The Brown reeds are fine with the main subject being Pink, no distraction for me.
