83 Jul 23 Reply Thanks Michael - very happy to know you like quirky images too. And happy that you saw it as I did. It almost looked real - most unlikely because of the rock - but.....
I put it up in a recent group discussion and it got laughed off the screen.

83 Jul 23 Reply Thanks Mark - you are right! It was bright yellow. Jul 19th
83 Jul 23 Reply Thanks Lance. I don't know what that thing is on the hood and until you mentioned it I didn't even notice it as part of the car. I went back to have a look but the car only desirable item in the collection) has gone. Jul 19th
83 Jul 23 Comment Great image Lance. I love the fact that the mother is looking at the grandfather of her newborn and quietly sharing her joy. You have captured something special. It's quite powerful and brings out the emotion of the moment. The settings you have chosen no doubt contribute to this display of visible emotion. Love it.

83 Jul 23 Comment Hi Mark - B&W for this image was a great choice. It brings out the drama and mystery. The moody sky adds to the drama. I agree with the comments about the crop - the bits on the side detract somewhat from the formation of the stones. Very nice image. Jul 19th
83 Jul 23 Comment Welcome to the group Don. Lots to look at and appreciate here. Worth getting up early! I like the contrast between the geometric shapes and lines of the building and the background where the buildings are softened by the trees. Moodiness created by the threatening sky and the deserted street lends itself to B&W. Excellent clarity throughout. I agree with Michael suggestion that adjusting the apparent lean in the buildings would improve the image. Jul 15th
83 Jul 23 Comment Love the tree Adi. Its trunk is bent perhaps indicating it is quite old and has been subject to years of harsh desert weather. At first, I thought a bit of a crop on the right would focus the attention more on the tree but the broader expanse you have chosen emphasizes the tree's strength and ability to survive in that environment. 83 Jul 23 Comment Wow Michael, what can I say? Love this image and have to agree that a B&W rendition is very fitting here. The moody tones suit what appears to be a very isolated community, a long way from anywhere - similar to a lighthouse site. The long exposure is perfect. Looks like time stands still here.
Love it.

83 Jul 23 Comment Hi Debasish - I love the lines, shapes, and tones of this attention drabbing image. There is a pleasing sense of movement as my eye drills right down to the end of the tunnel. Lovely and sharp. Jul 12th
