Thanks Carl. I am feeling much relieved. I was thinking that I might have stepped over some imaginary line. New technology has opened up things we have never dreamed of and it is pretty exciting - now that I now it is acceptable. And altered reality is a really good way to describe it. |

There's a story happening here with us being able to look into windows and wonder what goes on inside - and yes, fantasy and reality. The crop discussion is interesting and there are always many views on what is best and in the end it is up to you. In this image, I would want to crop back to the windows. The awning at the bottom doesn't add to the story and neither does the small window section on the right. All of the interest is in the ornate windows and the contents of the windows. Agree with Belinda on punching up the colours. I really like it. It is an image you can look at and enjoy thinking about the people who live behind the windows in that building. |

Well done on the award for the iris close-up! And well done on this image as well. Funny that we have two "through the window" images this month and both done so well. The flight path of the plane has offered a composition with nice leading lines to draw the eye to the view. Great sharpness in the buildings especially considering the what might be on the outside of plane windows. |

Thanks Belinda - I am starting to believe that it is ok after reading what you and Pat have to say. |

Thanks Pat. Laughing about eyeballs, corn and Mexican capes here! This phone photography is so different and refreshing in one way, that you can let your creative juices flow. I still have to get my head around ownership of the final image though. It feels like cheating. But maybe you are right - it's a painting in digital form so it's ok. |

I really like this yard art too Ruth, and enjoying seeing your series. Great idea. The frog is lovely and sharp and shown in anatural context. Is it possible to apply a graduated filter to reduce some of the light on the right hand side? May lead to further edits to make the frog "pop" though. Looking forward to the next one in this series. |

Just as well you didn't let the dirty windows put you off because you've captured a great image. Always pays to have the phone handy. The crop and colour punching are very effective and I think perhaps the casual looking workers (?) give the image a story that would otherwise be missing. Could not suggest any changes. Love it. |

A great photo with a great perspective. It's really sharp and to me, it has wow factor. It would be interesting to see what it would look like following Belinda's comments especially mono - I can see sepia tones in such an edit. |
