The subjects look good in the original. Just blur the background like you did in the one you submitted and I think it will be good. |

This is another great image from you, Victor. I like both the color and the black & white versions, and I like Jamie's crop. The black & white is strong, but I also think the colors give some feelings to the image. All in all, both the color and the b&w are really nice images. |

I like this image. The interaction is great. The colors are great. And the shallow depth of field is great. I agree with Victor about the processing of it. It looks like you may have used an effect from something like Topaz Studio, and I would suggest removing the effect. I don't think it adds to the image. |

This is definitely a good subject for a photograph, but I think I probably would have shot it closer (a long lens because you obviously can't get up in the fireman's faces). I think from as far away as this is taken, and the firemen are so small in the image, it doesn't really convey a sense of action or emergency. Also, being taken from so far back makes it busy with phone lines and other street elements that don't add to the photograph. Of course I realize that you may not have had a long lens with you when you saw this scene, but I think that's what's called for to get a really good shot of this action. |

I like the image of the boy's interaction with the dog. I agree about cloning out the shovel handle, and I would also take out the part of the curb that is showing as well. And if you don't have a larger crop of the image, then I would suggest using Content Aware in Photoshop to add more snow on the left so that the dog's tail isn't so close to the frame. I also thought the boy and the dog were a little soft. Overall, I think this was a great scene to capture. |

I like the crop that you did and I like the warm colors of this image. This is a good shot of action on the street. The pipes form leading lines into the image and I think that's good. I might have blurred the background just a little and lightened the faces. But overall, I think it's a nice image. |
