I love this image. I always find rain-slicked streets to be interesting images. And while usually I think they look better in black & white, I like your color version better in this case. I think the silvery color of the street really brings out its sleekness. And I like the various colors of the vendor's and the pedestrian's umbrellas. I think your composition is excellent. Very well done! |

When I first looked at this image right after you posted it, my thought was that it had a lot of potential. And from looking at how you've now edited it, I think that was correct. I knew it needed some work, and I think the advice you got was just right for what needed to be done. I really like the image as you've redone it. You have the couple highlighted with details from the background brought out, which keeps me interested in the image. And I like how the chairs in the foreground give the image additional depth. Well done! |

This is a great image. I like how you've focused on the boy's face and still given us a sense of place. The joy in his face is contagious. I like Ed's suggestions about reducing the highlights and darkening the background a touch. But overall, excellent capture! |

Very nice image. My comments are exactly the same as Victor's comments. Everything he said is what I would say about it. |

I like Ed's crop. It puts the focus on the runner, and still includes enough of the wall and its graffiti to keep the image interesting and the viewer's eye in the image. |

Thank you Victor. You are correct about my using Topaz DeNoise. I am not comfortable with Photoshop, but it is probably time for me to get comfortable with it. |

Beverly said that this image is blocked from copying. I would like to be able to do that with photographs that I post online. I'm wondering how you did that? |

This is a great image. I would not crop it at all. I think this is one of those times when having the subject in the middle of the frame is okay. And I think that because I don't see her as being the sole subject. I think the entire setting, including her, is the subject. It's a great image because there is a lot to keep your eye in the image. And it's perfectly shot in my opinion. |

Thanks Beverly. I'll have to see if I can adjust that. Good observation. |
