The good news about the photo is the little girl was giggling a minute after i took her photo and wanted to see her picture.

Thanks for your comment!

I'm new to PSA, what did you mean by "submit to galleries for exhibition"?

Thanks

Street + motion = a great street photo (for me)

I really like the original photo. The downward tilt makes it look like the taxi bike is going downhill and the darker shadows on the bicyclists face make me want to look under the canopy to see what the taxi driver is experiencing.

Even though I have never been to Cuba, your photo captures what I think visiting Cuba would be like.

Thanks for sharing!!

Not to get all Photo-Technical, but your photo is the "picture perfect " (pun intended) example of the rule of thirds.

Very well composed, the faces/skin tones are perfect with no shadows from their hats and sunlight.

A very fun and well composed photo.

I agree with everyone's comment above especially Beverly's

Instead of commenting on your photo I just want to jump into it and follow the subjects to wherever they are going!

MOLTO BENE!

Welcome to the group.

The original photo is not displaying in the top panel of this webpage but I'm able to see Beverly's post of the photo.

Jim - I'm slightly color blind so I'm a huge fan of black and white photos. Photos that have dark contrasts are easier for me to enjoy and I really like your photo (i would like to see what this pic would look like in B&W).

The dramatic lines caused by the dark shadows are a nice compliment to the casual lines from the models arms, chin, and nose. By the way, the newspaper and red pocketbook act like an exclamation point to the photo.

Nice capture and I look forward to your future photos

The stop line in the photo guides you from the front of the photo to the other side of the street. I feel like a pedestrian waiting to cross the street, using my peripheral vision each step i take in the crosswalk.

From the license plate on the first car I know I'm in in the US and I'm probably going to stop in the Chinese restaurant for dinner when I get to the other side of the street.

The deep yellow taxi door and bright shinny scooter helmet are great accents against the dark shadows.

Great cityscape photo

80 May 19 Comment Beverly -I have some vacation time coming up soon ( which means free time to do stuff) and I'm going to take your advice and see if I can remove the 2 legs from the photo.

Thanks for the advice & feedback
