Thanks Lauren, She's negative now so all is well on that end and we're all fine. I just lost a cousin to COVID yesterday and another cousin in another state is in the hospital with COVID and pneumonia. When it rains, it pours. In other news, there were lots of buffalo and deer out and close to the road at my favorite wildlife refuge today so I took pictures and videos of them. |

Thanks Valerie! I hope you have a great Xmas as well. Even at this late stage in the game, some people are still resisting safety precautions so I tend not to leave my home unless I need groceries or have a doctor's appointment. My hubby went to see our granddaughter and found out the next day that her mom had COVID, ugh, have to be tested again. Best to you and yours! |

Thanks so much for your comments, Sandra. I'll try a version with a thinner band of gold. I didn't like the version I had with just the color so I thought the texture on the gold would be better. Maybe that's what made it chintzy, haha! Maybe I didn't need the gold at all, I can try a version like that also. I wanted to try new things because I'm still trying to find "my style". I like trying them on PSA because I can get feedback on what works and what doesn't. |

Lauren, she is still is pretty in the midst of all of that muddiness with all her ruffles on her wings and body! It looks like she is coming right toward you! What a lucky find. Did she just land or was she guard her territory? |

Hi Karl! When I first saw your image, I was thinking sexy and then I saw the bird. I love it! I like the shadows as well. I would have liked to have seen more of the attention on the bird. I hope you don't mind, I had so much fun playing around with your image. |

This is the perfect season for a Christmas Bouquet. The roses are so pretty, I wished I could see more traces of the rose. Because I didn't immediately see the rose, I initially focused on the colors and texture and didn't get the Christmas connection except by the title. It's great that you're exploring time zooms (are they the same as zoom blurs?). If you're using 10 sec, try counting down the first 4 secs or so (to capture more of the image) before you begin zooming. It is an adventure, wishing you lots of wonderful images as you continue your exploration. |

I love this image also and I liked LuAnn's comment about doing a second version of this picture using a Topaz watercolor effect. This image looks more like a painting, very clean and yes, as LuAnn mentioned, refreshing. Seeing what you've done makes me really want to try ICM! I love the effect. I wish you a wonderful holiday season as well. |

From a lonely, withered tree in a fog, you created a story of life with a brighter outlook. Perhaps, the fog was clearing to make way for the blue skies. The tree is once more useful as a perch for the bird flying toward it. The frame is a nice touch and I'm glad you kept the mat simple for this image. I couldn't figure out what that thing in the water was. There is a problem area near the bottom to mid right corner of the image. It looks like you might have cloned areas of the fog near the tree branches to that area. You could go back over that area maybe with the blending brush tool to get rid of the residual "branches" in that area. I love Topaz Studio also. |

Even in its final days, the Golden One is still yielding value. Place a flower on the flat rippled mylar and photograph the flower joined by its reflection on the Golden One. Loved the story. Yes, that really does look like a person. Maybe an Egyptian chariot driver in his golden-ness and smokey topaz accents, aging in perfection. |
