Thanks Sandra. We use loose tea. Unlike American style, we pour the tea into the cups almost immediately after putting the hot water in. We know it will taste good based on the kind of tea we have used and the color in the cup. We only took our masks off when sipping the tea. |

Welcome Peter! What a delightful image! I love the color combinations and design. l haven't done any in-camera multiple exposures yet or movement (except for zoom blurs and panning). It gives me something to look forward to. I like the panoramic presentation, it added more interest to the image. |

Thanks Valerie. It was my first triptych. I agree about the mat placement. As for the head location, I was showing progression to the actual serving from start to the actual serving. The real deal was that my friend came to my home to drop off food for me and my husband. He became so sick following his recent surgery so she wore her mask while visiting. Although, I was the actually the host, she's just like family and made the green tea in my home and served it to me. The shoot was impromptu because I had just received my new lens in mail and couldn't wait to use it. |

Lauren, beautiful! I can almost smell the damp forest scene and hear the water flow over the rocks. I love old cabins as well. What a lovely postcard image! |

I also love all the texture in this image and in the shredded tarp. There is art, even in deterioration. Love the way you captured this scene and the mood with the yellow/orange halogen headlight. This scene would have been quite different during the day. |

Love, love, love! This image definitely tells a story, I love the colors and the story I see in your image. You've got my creativity flowing again. I visited Judy Stokes' site and wouldn't mind doing this in person with her in New Zealand once it's safe to do so. Some of my friends have done this with amazing results. One friend combined it with color grading to tell his story. Thank you for inspiring me. |

Hi Sandra, Love this! The first thing I though of when I saw your image was outer space. You captured the smoky beauty and softness of nebulae. Lovely image. |

Thank you Lauren. Yes, she is offering the tea to her friend. In Japanese culture, it's customary to pour beverages for each other and the guest gets the first cup. The host usually pours the tea for everyone. When drinking other beverages, you would pour for your friend and wait for your friend to pour for you. Also ensure your friend's cup is never empty. When you've had enough, take tiny sips so your cup stays full. |

Wow, Karl! Love the effects, fluid lines, designs and colors! Love that you're trying processes and sharing with us. So many possibilities for the images made with this technique. I could easily envision these as overlays, backgrounds and as art in itself. |
