Sandra, I LOVE your image! I haven't tried to do something similar but I want to. My girlfriend and I were in school together learning Photoshop but she was much more advanced than me even though we started at the same time. Boy, she wasn't afraid to go exploring beyond what the teacher was teaching. I love that about her and we continually learn from each other. I'm excited to see what your next project will be! |

Hi Judith,
Love your story. I didn't know what an "Insulation Sprite" was and you'll probably laugh, but I actually looked online for the definition of Sprite and Insulation Sprite. Hahaha! Then I thought that dark brown thing was some sort of Sprite bug so I looked that up online. I think I finally got it. . . or not. Did you mean Sprite like a fairy? I'm sorry to say that I don't see the fairy. The insulation has a "smoke-like" smokey topaz quality to it, it would have been cool to play with the opacity and use it for an overlay. |

Simple, clean interpretation of a peaceful scene. It looks like a scene someone might see on a cross country drive. I like the feel of the Nik filter, it adds just enough mood. I not sure about the corner burns on the images though, maybe if they were not so dark. I've never done a triptych, so not familiar with any general rules for use. I do like the fact that it's a triptych, but I think I would have liked it more if the mountain were on the right end of the picture. In the picture order, the power lines seem to lead my eyes to the right so if the mountain were on the right, it has a natural resting place still in the scene. |

Hi May, I think shadows may be your trademark. It's what I notice in your pictures. Your comments talk about an old couple but I wouldn't have known the couple was old because they look like a young couple running. I say that you've succeeded in showing how love can transform, revitalize people, reminding us about the energy of people in love and how that energy feeds off of one another when people are in love. How romantic! |

For some reason, I thought this was a thistle! I was so surprised by the time I read that it was an artichoke at the end. Duh, it's in the title. I love eating them, but I've never seen an artichoke plant or flower until now. I love the overall composition and sharpness of the flower, this will probably be the loveliest artichoke I've ever seen. |

Wow Karl, I love the design work! The complementary colors are working well together. I really like the way the "fan" rolls under on the bottom right. It's also reminiscent of a crown. The model, indeed, looks like she is dancing and interacting with the structure, complete with steps! Appreciate the work you did in compositing and producing this image. |

Love this Sandra! It's a delightful soft color palette with patterns reminiscent of choppy ocean waves. Overall, really cool, makes me want to try something new. You might want to touch up the black dot in the upper right corner. I wondered whether a stroke around the image would "finish" the look and maybe using levels or curves to further enhance the waves. I took it into Photoshop and did that, but then I wondered what a filter effect would look with it. I used the Artistic panel and "Plastic Wrap" effect on this. |
