45 Nov 19 Reply Thanks for the vote of confidence, Ray. But the image above is from Cindy! :) I did get the same effect in LR. Nov 9th
45 Nov 19 Reply Good idea, Charlie. I like the result. Makes her/his cheeks look a little "puffier" too! Nov 8th
45 Nov 19 Reply Thanks for noticing the colors to the left and top of the image. I tried darkening them and it did not look good. In Lightroom, I tried the HSL sliders with the targeted adjustment tool and got the same result I think. It desaturated the yellow and oranges but also in the eyes. Using the adjustment brush and then desaturating that area worked. Thanks again. Nov 8th
45 Nov 19 Comment I like these old farm buildings or structures. The color in the hex sign adds a nice accent to the building. The clouds and the grass and foliage add to the overall scene. Nov 8th
45 Nov 19 Comment I like your sunset photo. I think the colors are great with the silhouettes of the masts at the horizon. I also like the lighting of the clouds along the bottom edge. Nov 8th
45 Nov 19 Comment Nice fall scene with the yellow leaves against a blue sky. I did not see the snow at first but now I see some on the ground. It's hard to tell if the snow is over exposed since there is not much of it. Nov 8th
45 Nov 19 Comment I think this is overall a good composition. The colors of the banner I think adds a strong accent to the image.
I agree it would be good to see the persons eyes. I feel the reflection of the leaves is a distraction for my eye.

45 Nov 19 Comment Great image David. I like the strong lines of the underside of the bridge. The colors in the sky seem ok for my eye. I would like to see a little less of the water and more of the sky and bridge, so I cropped out a little in the attached image. Nov 8th
45 Nov 19 Comment Great night time image of the fishing village. I like the smoke stacks in the clouds or background. I find the upper sky a little bright and distracting to my eye. I tried two options in Lightroom. One cropping some of the sky from the top which makes the scene more panoramic. Or use the graduated filter to darken the sky. I might also use 1 or 2 radial filters to the lighten the buildings and cranes that seem to be the focus. Nov 8th
