Wonderful image! The children are having fun, but the sheep? Maybe not ????
I love the vibrant colors and how they contrast with the dirt.Great job capturing the action.
You might consider cropping a bit to put more emphasis on the action. |

Nice capture! The fast speed captured the motion of the water. Your DOF provide the separation needed for your grand daughter's head. Great job! |

Oh to be young again! This boy is pure joy. I like that he is offset from the people. It shows how we lose that energy as we get older!
I like Nancy's suggestion. I lightened the boy slightly, toned down the background highlights and then cropped to put the boy's face on the one-third line. |

What a creative and fun image! I don't see the noise but I agree with Nancy about trying to remove the reflection. You could try Earth Oliver's frequency separation 2.0 technique. He has a Photoshop plugin that works quite well but it does take a bit of time to learn how to use it. |

Thank you. I made my living as a professional technical writer but I also write a travel blog, so I've been working on my writing as well as my photography. |

Great photo. They are clearly having fun. Your editing is terrific. I think showing the context of the car ride is fine. Here is a version that eliminates the car. I cannot say it is any better because it depends on the story you want to tell. |

Thanks for the comments Bruce. I do enjoy trying out other suggestions because in many cases I see them as improvements. In the case I do like my original because to me, it communicates more of my feeling while on that hike. |

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. For this I had wanted to highlight the looming clouds, but I can see that your crop works too. It reminds me of something I learned at an Ansel Adams workshop…that he didn't like clouds! But of course he did marvelous things with how he toned landscapes. |

Thanks for the suggestions Harley. I can see not putting the house in the middle, so I created another version where the house is on the one-third line. I did additional cropping to made it feel balanced. When I take travel photos I don't flip images because that's not a true representation of the location. (PSA travel photo guidelines).
It turns out that whether something if right or left is a product of culture, at least according to an online discussion I participated in! I find that fascinating. |

Well done photo, sharp and nice lighting.
When I see photos of animals in a zoo, my preference is to see the animal and not the enclosure. I cropped and rotated your image to emphasize the interaction between these two beautiful animals. |

Terrific photojournalist image. I love the image as it is.
For a second image, if you have the resolution, you might crop to make the firefighter the center and show part of the red cloud about to envelop them. |

The way you framed the image makes it difficult to believe it is in Las Vegas. It looks so rural.
Why can't we read the sign? When I zoom in I see many artifacts that look as if you intentionally tried to erase the words. |

What a fantastic processing job! Great subject. I would have liked to see the entire left hand. Is there a reason why you chose that crop? |

Fun image! It looks as if the hummingbird and the bee are preparing for combat. The bee makes the bird look like a giant.
Very nice detail in the image. As Harley pointed out, if you wanted sharp wings you'd need to use a faster shutter speed. But I also like the slower speed because it communicates the speed of the wings. Well done. |
